Sheriff IDs 25-Year-Old Dodge Charger Driver Killed Crashing Into Parked Cars In Virginia

A 25-year-old man was killed in an early-morning crash in Northern Virginia after losing control of his Dodge Charger and crashing into parked cars, according to the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office.

Sterling resident Jason A. Recinos-Funes died in a Virginia hospital after crashing his Charger in the 500 block of East Staunton Avenue on Monday, Dec. 12 in his hometown.

Investigators say that members of the sheriff's office were called to the scene of the crash shortly before 2:45 a.m. on Monday morning when Recinos-Funes was driving his 2013 Charger on East Staunton Avenue when he struck two parked cars in the area.

Recinos-Funes was transported to an area hospital following the crash, where he died later on Monday morning.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
